Why does an aqueous solution of an acid conduct electricity?
In aqueous solutions acids dissociate to form ions. These ions conduct electricity. In dry condition acid does not dissociate to form ions.
Samples of four metals A, B, C and D were taken and added to the following solution one by one. The results obtained have been tabulated as follows.
