In a bisexual flower inspite of the young stamens being removed artificially, the flower produces fruit. Provide a suitable explanation for the above situation.
Bisexual flower contains both stamen (male part) and pistil (female part). If the stamen is removed artificially it will show no effect on the flower producing capability of the flower because it still contains the female part. And if the flower has only a female part then cross pollination can occur. The stamen of the other plant may get fertilized with the pistil or the carpel of the flower and thereby they produce fruits.
