How do leaves of plants help in excretion?

Answer:

Excretion is a process where all waste material and the excess amount of water, minerals and salts are excreted out through the life processes which are involved by the plants as well as by the animals. As the plants do not have special organs like animals so leaves play important role in the excretion of waste products by shedding which are deposited in leaves, Excess carbon dioxide and oxide are also excreted out through the stomata in leaves of the plant.
