(क) कवि बाग-बगीचा क्यों लगाना चाहता है?

(ख) कविता में कवि की क्या विनती है?

'आज सभ्यता वहशी बन,

"बच्चे और पेड़ दुनिया को हरा-भरा रखते हैं।"

अब तुम यह बताओ कि पेड़ों और बच्चों में क्या कुछ समानता है? उसे अपने ढंग से लिखो।

(1) कवि बगीचा इसलिए लगाना चाहता है जिससे उसमे रंग – बिरगे फूल खिले और चिड़िया चहचहांए I

(2) कविता में कवि की यही विनती है कि वह बगीचे के लिए थोड़ी धरती पा जाए I

(3) कवि ऐसा इसलिए कह रहा है क्योकि आज के मानव ने अपने लालच के कारण प्रकति को नष्ट करना शुरू कर दिया है वह अपने लालच में सारी धरती को अपने अंन्दर समा लेना चाहता है I

(4) पेड़ और बच्चे दोनों ही मन को शांति प्रदान करने वाले है बच्चे अपनी शेतानियो से सबका मन मोह लेते है वैसे ही पेड़ भी अपनी हरियाली से सबका मन मोह लेते है I

(क) तुम्हें सर्दी-गरमी के मौसम में अपने घर के आसपास क्या-क्या दिखाई देता है?

(ख) तुमने पाठ में पढ़ा कि एक बूढ़ी महिला ताड़पत्र से बनी छतरी लिए खड़ी थी। पता करो कि ताड़पत्र से और क्या-क्या बनाया जाता है?

(ग) विश्वेश्वरैया ने बचपन में रामायण, महाभारत, पंचतंत्र आदि की कहानियाँ सुनी थीं। तुमने पाठ्यपुस्तक के अलावा कौन-कौन सी कहानियाँ सुनी हैं? किसी कहानी के बारे में बताओ।

(घ) तुम्हारे मन में भी अनेक सवाल उठे होंगे जिनके जवाब तुम्हें नहीं मिले। ऐसे ही कुछ सवालों की सूची बनाओ।

(ङ) तुम्हारे विचार से गरीबी के क्या कारण हैं?

नीचे लिखी पंक्तियाँ पढ़कर उत्तर दो।

(क) "नया संसार बसाएँगे, नया इंसान बनाएँगे।" तुम्हारे विचार से नया संसार बसाने और नया इंसान बनाने की ज़रूरत है या नहीं? कारण भी बताओ।

(ख) "रोज त्योहार मनाएँगे।" तुम्हारे विचार से क्या रोज़ त्योहार मनाना उचित है? क्यों?

(ग) "सौ सौ स्वर्ग उतर आएँगे, सूरज सोना बरसाएँगे। दूध पूत के लिए बदल देगें तारों की चाल" क्या ऊपर लिखी बातें संभव हो सकती हैं? कारण भी पता करो?

(घ) कवि 'हम धरती के लाल' ही क्यों कहना चाहते हैं?

(क) पाठ के आधार पर गारो जनजाति के बारे में कुछ पंक्तियाँ लिखो।

(ख) गारो लोग एक स्थान पर क्यों बस जाना चाहते थे?

(ग) जा पा जलिन पा और सुक पा बुंगि पा का नाम आदर से क्यों लिया जाता है?

पाठ में ऐसी अनेक चीज़ों के नाम आए हैं जिन्हें खाने-पीने के लिए प्रयोग में लाया जाता है। बताओ, इनका प्रयोग किन पकवानों में होता है?

नीचे सुधा चंद्रन के जीवन की कुछ घटनाएँ बताई गई हैं। इन्हें सही क्रम में लगाओ।

(क) कवि एक नया संसार बसाना चाहता है जहाँ मानव की मेहनत पूजी जाए, जहाँ जनता में एकता हो, जहाँ सब समान हों, जहाँ सभी सुखी हों। तुम्हें अपने संसार में ऊपर लिखी बातें नज़र आती हैं या नहीं? इन बातों के होने या न होने का क्या कारण है?

(ख) तुम भी अपने संसार के बारे में कल्पनाएँ ज़रूर करते होंगे। अपने सपनों की दुनिया के बारे में बताओ।
