“I’ll take the risk.” What is the risk? Why does the narrator take it?

Answer:

The narrator is flying to England from France. Then he took the risk when nothing is visibile in the storm. He is craving to spend time with his family. He is absolutely hopeful that he will reach home at the breakfast time.The narrator sees the black stormy clouds when he is one hundred and fifty kilometres far way from Paris. Initially, he thinks about returning back to Paris as he is certain that he does not have enough fuel. But, his craving to do breakfast with his family force him to take the risk of flying through the stormy clouds to England.
