1. पावस ऋतु में प्रकृति में कौन-कौन से परिवर्तन आते हैं? कविता के आधार पर स्पष्ट कीजिए।
2. ‘मेखलाकार’ शब्द का क्या अर्थ है? कवि ने इस शब्द का प्रयोग यहाँ क्यों किया है?
3. ‘सहस्र दृग-सुमन’ से क्या तात्पर्य है? कवि ने इस पद का प्रयोग किसके लिए किया होगा?
4. कवि ने तालाब की समानता किसके साथ दिखाई है और क्यों?
5. पर्वत के हृदय से उठकर ऊँचे-ऊँचे वृक्ष आकाश की ओर क्यों देख रहे थे और वे किस बात को प्रतिबिंबित करते हैं?
6. शाल के वृक्ष भयभीत होकर धरती में क्यों धंस गए?
7. झरने किसके गौरव का गान कर रहे हैं? बहते हुए झरने की तुलना किससे की गई है?

5. ताल से उठते हुए धुएं को देखकर लगता था मानो आग लग गई थी I
2. मेखलाकर शब्द का अर्थ था करधनी के आकर के समान यह कटी भाग में पहनी जाती थी पर्वत भी मेखलाकर की तरह गोल लग रहा है कविने इस शब्द का प्रयोग पर्वत की विशलता दिखाने और ससार के सोदर्य को बढ़ाने के लिए किया था I
3. कवि ने इस पद का प्रयोग सजीव चित्रण करने के लिए किया था सहस दग सुमन का अर्थ था हजारो पुष्प रुपी आँखे कवि ने इसका प्रयोग पर्वत पर खिले फूलो के लिए किया था I
4. कवि ने तालाब की तुलना दर्पण से की थी क्योकि तालाब का जल अत्यत स्वच्छ व निर्मल था वह प्रतिबिब दिखाने में सक्षम था दोनों ही पारदर्शी दोनों में ही व्यक्ति अपना प्रतिबिब देख सकता था I
5. पर्वत के ह्रदय से उठकर ऊँचे ऊँचे पड़ आकाश की और अपनी उच्चाकश्राओ के कारण देख रहे है वे बिल्कुल मों रहकर स्थिर रहकर भी संदेश देते प्रतीत होते थे बिना किसी सदेह के चुपचाप मोंन रहकर अपने लक्ष्य की और अग्रसर होना था I
6. कवि के अनुसार वर्षा इतनी तेज़ और मुसलाधार है कि ऐसा लगता है मानो आकाश धरती पर टूट पडा था चारो और कोहरा छा जाता था पर्वत झरने आदि सब अद्श्य हो जाते है ऐसा लगता था मानो तालाब में आ लग गई है चारो तरफ धुँआ शा उड़ता प्रतीत होता था I
7. झरने पर्वतों की उच्चता और महानता के गौरव का गान कर रही थी कवि ने बहते हुए झरनों की तुलना मोतियों की लडियो से की थी I
