Answer:

Biodiversity hotspots are the place which are biologically richest and are deeply threatened which are included in 6 continents. They are distributed along the shore lines and near the equator and covers almost 1.4% of the world land. These hot spots contains high number of endemic species under their strict protection, which could help in the reduction of extinction by approximate 30%.
