How will the equations of motion for an | Class 9 Science Chapter Motion, Motion NCERT Solutions

Question:

How will the equations of motion for an object moving with a uniform velocity change?

Answer:

As the object is moving with a uniform velocity, so acceleration will be zero, a = 0.
Then put a = 0
1st equation of motion is , v = u + at
v = u + 0 x t
v = u

2nd equation of motion is , s = ut + (½)at^2
s = ut + (½)0 t^2
s = ut

3rd equation of motion is , v^2 = u^2 + 2as
v^2 = u^2 + 2 x 0 x s
v^2 = u^2
