Question:

दुर्लभ गुणों को एक ही पात्र में दिखाने के पीछे कवि का क्या उद्देश्य है? उदाहरण सहित स्पष्ट कीजिए।

Answer:

 प्राय दुलभ गुणों का समावेश एक ही व्यक्ति में होना असभव होता था ऐसा व्यक्ति ढूढकर भी नही मिलता था कवि के अंदर ऐसी श्रमता होती थी कि वह ऐसे गुणों से युक्त पात्र का निर्माण  कर सकता था यह मात्र मनोरंजन के लिए नही होता था इसके पीछे खास उधेश्य होता था वह उधेश्य था दिशाहीन मनुष्य को दिशा दिखाना था तो हमारा उधेश्य समाज के आगे आदर्श पात्र रखना था यह समाज के आगे आदर्श पात्र रखना था I

निम्नलिखित गद्यांशों की सप्रसंग व्याख्या कीजिए-
 

(क) 'कभी-कभी जो लोग ऊपर से बेहया दिखते हैं, उनकी जड़ें काफ़ी गहरी पैठी रहती हैं। ये भी पाषाण की छाती फाड़कर न जाने किस अतर गह्वर से अपना भोग्य खींच लाते हैं।'
 

(ख) 'रूप व्यक्ति-सत्य है, नाम समाज-सत्य। नाम उस पद को कहते हैं जिस पर समाज की मुहर लगी होती है। आधुनिक शिक्षित लोग जिसे 'सोशल सैक्शन' कहा करते हैं। मेरा मन नाम के लिए व्याकुल है, समाज द्वारा स्वीकृत, इतिहास द्वारा प्रमाणित, समष्टि-मानव की चित्त-गंगा में स्नात!'
 

(ग) 'रूप की तो बात ही क्या है! बलिहारी है इस मादक शोभा की। चारों ओर कुपित यमराज के दारुण निःश्वास के समान धधकती लू में यह हरा भी है और भरा भी है, दुर्जन के चित्त से भी अधिक कठोर पाषाण की कारा में रुद्ध अज्ञात जलस्रोत से बरबस रस खींचकर सरस बना हुआ है।'
 

(घ) हृदयेनापराजितः! कितना विशाल वह हृदय होगा जो सुख से, दुख से, प्रिय से, अप्रिय से विचलति न होता होगा! कुटज को देखकर रोमांच हो आता है। कहाँ से मिलती है यह अकुतोभया वृत्ति, अपराजित स्वभाव, अविचल जीवन दृष्टि!'
