The system of measurement is the most common system employed all over the world.The 11^th General Conference of the Weights & Measures held in France in 1960 introduced this system called Systeme International d’ units, abbreviated as SI system.

The SI unit of mass is kilogram (kg). 1 Kilogram is defined as the mass equal to the mass of the international prototype of kilogram.
