What is hybrid vehicle technology?. Explain its advantages with a suitable example?
Hybrid vehicle technology is defined as when the vehicles are running on the dual mode like petrol and CNG. To control the air pollution, the government of Delhi takes some important measures like the use of CNG (which is a green fuel) transports, use of low sulphur petrol or diesel, use of catalytic converters etc. CNG is used because it did not produce any pollution, is cheaper than petrol or diesel etc. and Delhi is the city where the entire public road transport runs on CNG.
