Answer:

The ribosomes subunits occurs separately in the cytoplasm and joined to form ribosomes at the time of protein synthesis. So at the time of active translation (protein synthesis), many ribosomes lines up and joined an mRNA chain, such a chain of ribosomes is called as polyribosome or Polysome.
