Nucleic acids exhibit a secondary structure known as helix DNA which is a twisted double chain structure and RNA in nucleic acids are exists in the form of single chain of helix. DNA forms double stranded helical form and RNA forms a single stranded helical form. DNA contains two complementary strands and are spirally coiled which are known as DNA duplex and in between two strands phosphodiester bond is present.
