There is greater biodiversity in tropical /subtropical regions than in temperate region. Explain.

Answer:

The tropical/ subtropical region exhibit maximum biodiversity this remains unchanged due to less seasonal or climatic variations, thus this region contains longer evolutionary history for the species diversity. On the other hand, temperate region contains high seasonal or climatic variations, which is very least constant and thus, less species will colonize there and been observed.
