What is the interaction between two species called?

Answer:

Species interaction explains most of the attributes of ecology and the population can be very much affected by the interactions between the organisms in the ecosystem. When the interaction occurs between the two same species, are called intra- specific interaction; and when the interaction occurs between two different species are known inter- specific interaction; or the interaction between two organisms living together in intimate association or even the merging of two different organisms are known as Symbiosis which is always inter- specific where at least one species benefits. Interactions are broadly categorized into three: Positive, Negative and Neutral; only depends on the nature of the effect on interacting species.
